Laughing Cow is my go-to brand, but others like Babybel are also a great option. Individual cheese packs are quick to eat, provide protein, and have fewer calories. Important to remember, individual cheese packets should never be out of the refrigerator for too long.
Low-fat Chocolate Milk
Who in the hell does not love chocolate and especially chocolate milk? It’s the one thing that tricks your body into thinking it’s cheating. It’s also the perfect post-workout snack. It helps with muscle recovery. If I knew that, I would have been working out more. Water is never enough for me.
Peanut Butter on a Banana or Apple
It’s no secret, peanut butter is good for you. However, did you know this; a regular-sized portion of peanut butter is only supposed to be the size of a golf ball. Until this article, I did not know peanut butter comes in on-the-go packets. Smear some on a banana or apple for added fiber (and deliciousness).
Low-fat Greek yogurt with fresh berries and with a few raw almonds in a cup is the quickest high-protein mini meal. Another option to consider is eating yogurt plain with a teaspoon of honey. It’s delicious, nutritious, and the kind of meal to help keep the craving down.
