The other day for some reason I was in the mood for sake. I don’t know why but it was the first thing that came to mind, especially as I thought about fall being right around the corner. Perhaps since I had a mild stomach ache and in the past warm sake has always soothed my stomach, I ordered it.

In a conversation with my best-friend, I mentioned that sake is healthy for you and he was unaware of all the benefits to drinking sake. Yes, sake is an alcoholic beverage, but it’s packed with health benefits.

Out of curiosity, I did a Google search on sake and its health benefits and found this fantastic infographic by Sake Talk breaking down all the great reasons to drink sake. For those who have not tasted sake before it does take a little getting used to but when you do, you’ll enjoy its rich flavor especially in the winter.
