Snoop Dogg previews his new gospel album ‘Bible of Love’

"The record's all about love from start to finish," he said at a recent event. "That's the way you change the world, by putting love in it." - Snoop Dogg

Believe it or not, Snoop Dogg is mixing rap and gospel, and it’s very impactful. I love the Clark Sisters and their version of “Blessed & Highly Favored,” it’s heavenly!

Snoop Dogg delivered on his promise to record a gospel album ‘Bible of Love.’ Snoop Dogg has hinted at recording a gospel album since 2017. He said in a Beats 1 interview, “It’s always been in my heart. I just never got around to it because I am always doing ‘gangsta’ business or doing this or doing that. I just felt like it’s been on my heart too long. I need to do it now.” The 32-track double album, which features artists like Tye Tribbet, the Clark Sisters, Faith Evans and Rance Allen, is due out March 16th according to the record’s iTunes preorder page.

If you’re a believer like I am, you’ll understand why this is wonderful for the black community, the rest of the world, but especially our young black youth struggling in society and being gunned down for no reason.

Snoop is an influential member of the African-American community who can deliver our black youth hope, and I am elated someone is finally leading by example and blending Gospel with Rap so it will uplift a generation not familiar with this genre of music.
